Profile and Qualifications
Geoff Hingerty BHMS, BHSc
I graduated from Sydney Teachers' College with a 3 Year Diploma of Physical Education and commenced my teaching career which lasted 34 years. Of these 34 years, I was Head of the Personal Development, Health and Physical Education Department for 18 years.
In my position as Head Teacher, I designed and implicated the PDHPE Program for Years 7-12, including the popular elective subjects of Sports Science for Years 9-10, Senior Sports Science for Years 11-12 and Advanced Human Movement Studies for Year 12.
Immediately after completing my Diploma, I began a Science Degree at Macquarie University and there I studied, Science, Psychology and Mathematics.
I continued my academic study and graduated from Queensland University with a Degree in Human Movement Studies and from Charles Sturt University with a Degree in Health Sciences.
During my teaching career, I experienced many memorable highlights, which I will treasure, however, my career path and my interest eventually changed and I re-educated and re-trained as a Naturopath. I now specialise in Eyesight Improvement.
As a Teacher, I was rewarded to see joy, enthusiasm and improvement in my students' learning, now, as a Naturopath, I again see joy, enthusiasm and improvement in my clients' health, well-being and eyesight. I have certainly been rewarded.
